What happened to Fitness Wave NorCal?

For over a decade Aeron had been traveling all over California, measuring using the mobile hydrostatic tank. COVID and the mask mandates made it impossible to keep that business afloat, so the dunk tank is in storage for now. The goal is to build our own measuring facility for all of the devices we have used in the last few years, doing research to give the most informed choice to individuals that are interested in body composition measurements. We won't be dunking any time soon but luckily, we have been building a new fitness focused business…

Since 2017 Aeron and his team have been doing composition research using Bodpod, Hydrostatic Weighing, Dexa, Impedance and many other tools. Every company is interested in selling their product or service. We’re just interested in what is actually occurring. Our team is now assisting companies in gathering motion data so they can optimize products, typically health or fitness related. One of our biggest areas of focus is making sure there is variety in data gathering. We insist that different ages, ethnicities, genders, fitness levels, and skin tones are represented since it is clear that these variables impact the reliability of the data gathered by the technology we lean on.

Our current focus is wearable fitness technology data capture so most of our studies are centered on highly repetitive movement to give the engineers data for tuning. Eventually Motus7 will open up the body composition service, both mobile and at our facility.
